Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is a technique of processing the placenta/afterbirth while first steaming (if using the Gentle Method), then dehydrating, powdering and adding that powder to capsules. We take great precautions for safety while preparing your placenta and can use our certified kitchen or your home, to complete the process.

Clear communication from our placenta encapsulation specialist during pregnancy will ensure you have all of your questions answered before delivery. Pickup of the placenta is coordinated with Gentle Seed after you give birth so you can relax and heal. Delivery of your placenta pills will be no more than three days after pickup.

Sleep Consultant Services

Sleep consultant services are available for parents newborn-5 years of age. Whether your goal is to get into a good rhythm with your baby’s, daytime napping, get support with parenting through the night AND getting good sleep yourself, or assisting an older baby with having longer stretches of nighttime sleep, we are here to help.

Sleep Consulting can help with:

  • assisting with early morning or nighttime waking
  • nap transitions or schedule adjustments
  • moving a child to a big kid bed or out of the parent’s bed
  • short naps
  • no naps
  • bedtime battles
  • and so much more!

Packages are all done virtually with text/email/phone support and a customized sleep plan for your child.

We do encourage collaborative care and would like for any advice offered to be pediatrician approved.

Hands‑On Labor Preparation Session (private)

Cost: $125

Many parents take childbirth classes that provide information about labor, but still feel unsure what to actually do when contractions begin. Our Hands‑On Labor Preparation Session focuses on the practical skills that help labor feel more manageable.

In this private session, a Gentle Seed Doula will guide you and your partner through breathing techniques, comfort positions, movement strategies, and hands‑on support techniques that can make a real difference during labor.

What We’ll Practice Together

• Breathing techniques to stay calm and focused during contractions
• Comfort positions that can help labor progress
• Movement and mobility exercises that support baby’s positioning
• Partner support techniques such as hip squeezes and sacral pressure
• Simple ways partners can provide reassurance and guidance during labor

Why This Session Is Helpful

Labor works best when the body feels supported, relaxed, and free to move. Practicing these techniques ahead of time can help you feel more confident and prepared when labor begins.

Our goal is not to give you a rigid plan, but to help you build a toolkit of practical skills that you can use throughout your labor experience.
